Most people seem to agree that energy conservation is a good idea. However, when it comes to putting energy conservation ideas into practice, many of us hesitate. Why? Because at first glance, energy conservation seems to involve discomfort, inconvenience and unpleasantness - experiences we humans tend to avoid.
But perhaps it is possible to look more deeply.
This brochure is an invitation to do just that: To develop greater understanding and insight, to see if it is possible to practice energy conservation with a sense of generosity and compassion instead of sacrifice and deprivation, and to explore how this effort might contribute to our own happiness.
Working with the suggestions on the
following list is just one way to begin making energy conservation part of your spiritual practice.
The earth seems to be beseeching us
to connect with joy and discover our
innermost essence.
