Protesting the Death Penalty (ongoing)

The Buddhist Peace Fellowship, in keeping with its mandate to work for human rights and social justice, opposes the death penalty. Christine Aquilino is coordinating our chapter's abolition effort. Participating is very easy: Simply email christinea at bpfboston dot org and you will receive pre-written letters via email on the latest cases. Letters can be sent as is, or edited as you wish. Please join us!

Also check out this message from His Holiness the Dalai Lama about the death penalty.

At our national BPF web site you can view and sign the Declaration on the Preciousness of Life, asking that -- should you die as a result of a murder -- no one be put to death in your name. You can find the Declaration here.
